Our investment focus can be summarized as follows:

Sector focus

We invest in technology, tech-enabled and related growth industries. Naturally, we are excited about large and high growth technology markets, such as enterprise software, cloud-enabled services, mobile, digital media, IT infrastructure, and financial technology.

Investment stage

We are growth investors, not venture capitalists. We focus on rapidly growing companies with proven technology that can be scaled effectively from a strong base.

Ownership and role

We aim to own a significant minority equity stake in the businesses we back, but are equally comfortable in majority positions. Regardless of our ownership position, we provide active support to accelerate growth but leave the day-to-day operations to our entrepreneurs. We recognize that exceptional businesses are built by exceptional teams.

Investment size

One Peak’s sweet spot for equity investments ranges from €10-80 million. However, for the right opportunity, capital is not a constraint.

Use of proceeds

We provide capital to fund growth, acquisitions, shareholder liquidity, and management buy-outs or buy-ins. We work with management and shareholders to structure a tailored solution for every investment (see Transaction Structures).

Investment period

Our typical time to exit is three to five years. However, we have considerable flexibility to adjust our investment period according to the needs of management and shareholders.
